A lot of people contact us to ask what kind of web hosting packages we offer. The answer to that is that we don't offer web hosting packages. Certainly we offer hosting but we don't believe in selling packages. There is a much better way to host your website and this is what we offer, it is hosting that is custom designed to meet your needs. When you see the advantages you will never go back to web hosting packages.
The main reason that we don't believe in web hosting packages is that it usually means that you are paying for something that you don't need. Part of the problem is that the packages are created with the broadest range of users in mind, that means that they will include the features that the most people need. This is fine if you actually have use for those features but the reality is that most people will not require some of the features that are included and will require others that aren't. That being the case you would be much better off if you got hosting that was custom designed for you.
The other reason that we don't believe in web hosting packages is that it takes away the biggest benefit of cloud hosting. Cloud hosting is where you have your site hosted on multiple servers that are connected together. The advantage that this offers is that if you need to increase your processing power you can simply add more servers. This allows you to quickly and easily upgrade as necessary.
The reason that web hosting packages are not really all that useful if you are using cloud hosting is that you really only need to pay for exactly the hosting that you need. The reason that most people use web hosting packages is so that they have extra space to expand their site if necessary. There is of course no reason to do this with cloud hosting since you can add more servers if you need them. That means that you don't need to have extra space available which means that there is no reason to pay for it and this is why we don't sell web hosting packages.
Rather than selling web hosting packages we have chosen to offer cloud hosting in large part because of the benefits that it offers. We really believe that it is the future and that in time all websites will be hosted this way. That being the case it really doesn't make sense for us to offer web hosting packages and really we can't see why you would want one anyway. Once you see how much better cloud hosting is there is no way that you will want to go with the old fashioned approach of hosting your site on a single server it is just too expensive and inconvenient.
