There are a few reasons for this but they all come down to our belief that cloud hosting is far superior to more traditional means and that it is the wave of the future. For this reason we have made the decision that we are only going to offer cloud hosting rather than a combination of cloud and traditional web hosting.
The reason that we only offer cloud hosting is that it is so much better than the more traditional forms that are used. To start with we should make it clear just what cloud hosting is. Basically cloud hosting is where your website is operated on multiple servers that are all connected together. The reason that you would want to do this is that you can add new servers as necessary if you need to increase the processing power. At the same time it allows you to avoid paying for more server processing power than is necessary.
The biggest advantage that cloud hosting offers is that you can add more servers as necessary. This means that you can expand and upgrade as necessary with a minimum of hassle. What most people do is they start out on a shared server until they reach the point where they decide that they need a dedicated server. The problem now is that there is a major hassle involved in moving your site to a new server. This is not an issue with cloud hosting, if you want to upgrade your site you can simply add new servers to the cloud so that you don't have to move anything.
The other advantage that cloud hosting offers is that you don't have to worry about too much traffic causing your site to crash. Many companies have experienced this, they launch a new promotion and they end up getting more traffic than they had expected and more than their server can handle. This causes the site to crash and they end up losing all of their customers. This is not as issue with cloud hosting since you can simply add more servers as necessary to deal with the extra traffic.
Cloud hosting also offers the advantage of being cost effective since you don't need to pay for more hosting than you actually need. When you use a regular server you need to pay for extra processing power in order to handle any upgrades or increases in traffic. Obviously this is not the most efficient way to do things. When you use cloud hosting you pay for the servers that you need and then if you need more processing power you simply add more servers. This will save you a lot of money over the long run since you aren't paying for things that you aren't using.
